The last weekend was a typically boring one. But there were several incidents that spiced it up a lil.
First on the list was the rain. Haha... i juz LOVE the rain. But not when it gets me soaking wet. But nevertheless, I still like the winds and rain more than the sun.
Sidetracking: I miss those times in Taiwan when the winds were so strong it could blow you away. So many times, our caps nearly flew off. Haha.. What a spectacle we caused. Lol.
Ya, so back to the topic. Yes, the rain. It was freaking heavy. I remember getting out of the car into the house which took a split second and my whole body was soaking wet le. Then of course after putting the things down, I had to get back into the car which made me soaking wet, again. How great... But the feeling when the rain splatters on you is so cool! I remember once I went back and me and my bro went to play basketball. We were playing till we were sweating like mad then we decided to slow jog back. Who knows as we were about to leave, the rain starts coming down. Of course, out of normal reaction, we started running. But eventually, I enjoyed the feeling so much, I slowed down to a walk. The feeling was simply great. Haha... But when we got back, we did not have a bath immediately so we kinda fell a lil sick. But nothing can't be solved with grandma's powder formula. Juz mix a lil of her powder formula into some of her bitter herbal tea and all of us get well in a day! No need for doctor whatsoever... Really miss those days...
Next on the list is the natural ice-cold well water used for bathing. Wa, that kinda cold water is the shiok kind. Not the kind that chills your bone. So it's really good. I always enjoy taking the baths there. Haha.. Although we tend to avoid bathing late at night coz really too cold. Haha... The kind you'll shiver after coming out of the bathroom. Nevertheless, it still feel good.
Last of all, the experience of carrying 3 cone ice-creams while riding on a motorbike in the hot sun. LOL. Damn fun! Haha... It's like, we were all very hot and then we hear the ringing of bells which signals the ice-cream man. Then suddenly, my uncle went "who wants ice-cream?". Of coz we all said yes. But who is gg to get it? Well, the youngest one is the bullied one. So I had to go with my uncle to get the ice-cream. So, the guy cut up the ice-cream (the kind they sell one piece for a dollar in Singapore and you can choose to put it in wafers or bread...) then put it on the cone. It was really unsteady and so I had to hold it while I sat on the bike and my uncle drove us back. Under the hot sun, ice-cream NEVER survives. By the time I got back, the ice-cream was already half-melted and it is all over my hands. Haha! but it was still really fun experience. Although I try never to do that again. Lol. Having mixed chocolate and durian flavoured melted ice-cream all over your hands is never a good idea. Especially when you are high up in the mountains and there's no water to wash. 0_0!!
