Lol. the past few days was really happening. Too happening that I took the whole day of today off to rest. LOL.
First, it was christmas eve. This yr's christmas was a quiet one, fortunately, I really hate crowds. I woke up early in the morning to buy last min christmas present and to have breakfast with Peili. Long time din eat Mac's breakfast le... had sausage macmuffin coz very budget but it still tastes good! Haha... After that, we went to shop for the present. I think I probably bought the most practical and useful present le lo. Lol. Bought a thumbdrive for Eugene. I even verified from Peili whether I shld buy him that and she says he needs it. So.. Great! Present settled. After that, we waited for Eugene to come meet Peili then I left for home, wanting to crawl back into my bed. Hu noes Bro ask me to go out shopping with them. Kaoz.. So I left and shopped with them, quite aimlessly... Nevertheless, we had Burger King for lunch and managed to buy some present for the next day at Taka's Talking Hall. Lol. Very very bad idea to go to Orchard on Christmas Eve and Christmas. I did not realize it until I was in the crowds. Gosh! Really hate to squeeze with ppl. Then weekian bro asked if I wanna go to chinatown in the coming CNY period. N my immediate reply was NO. Over my dead body would I go there and squeeze lo. Crazy de.. Dun understand y ppl like to be in the crowds so much. For me, the farther I can be away, the farther I will be. So, we decided that we wanna leave Orchard before the 'foam party' (ppl will start to spray rubbish stuffs on everyone) starts, so we wanna leave before 11pm. In the end, we hurriedly bought the presents and made our way back le. Then I went over to Tiong Bahru Plaza to meet peili, huimin, sis, eugene and their frens for late night movie. We watched 'Ip Mun'. The action and all was fantastic. I'll juz say that it's a great action film. :D
The next day, Christmas... I slacked at home till evening time then went out for dinner. We had dinner at NYDC (after much much much thinking) Haha.. Then we had the whole gift exchange thing.. Sadly, I got a pair of mugs. Like so.. boring. Lol. After dinner, guess wad?? We went to night safari! Haha.. Like so long din go le. Kinda missed it. But that day, finally went. We bought tickets for the tram ride coz reach there already very late liao so we decided to juz take the tram. Made one round around the park. The ride was supposed to be 45 minutes but we ended earlier than we thought. So we decided to take a short walk. We took the fishing cat trail and walked on, I actually wanted to link from there to the leopard trail but we got stopped halfway but the night safari ppl, stating that it's time for us to turn back because the park is closing for the night. Damn sad.. But still had fun. So it's ok. :D
Ok, next comes boxing day. Today, finally can go to sch after so long to do some editing. So I managed to transfer everything to the com I'm using and managed to sync some clips for the audio. Unfortunately, did not manage to finish doin it. Thinking that it was still early, I wanted to go home and put down the things first. Who knows, I was suddenly told to go to harbourfront immediately. Sianz... In the end, took 3 buses to get there when I can take juz one. Kaoz.. I reached there kinda early. So early that I regretted not gg home to put down my things first. But anyways, reached vivo, met ms lee then we waited for peili and eugene. Then we all carried the bottles of drinks over to the bbq/gathering place. The place was at Caribbean, a condo near harbourfront. A very pretty place. :D Isn't it good if we can stay there? Then like can go clubbing till wad time also nvm that kinda thing. LOL. Damn shiok! But that place only for rich ppl and ang mohs la, I guess... Haha... Dun think too much.. So anyway, we managed to reach the place but coz still got alot of ppl haven reach (including sis n bro..) so it was kinda boring and dead. But the bbq went on.. din eat much, really bored.. Until bro and sis came.. Still din lighten up the mood much.. N then it was time for gift exchange! I got a box of belgian chocs from weekian bro and I gave Eugene the thumbdrive I bought. Then there was other ppl exchanging all kinds of things la. Some really interesting stuffs and some expensive items. Whoo! So then after that, we took out the log cake bro they all bought but first we 'celebrated' fer's coming bdae. They bought her a small cake and sang song to her and stuffs. After which we cut up the christmas cake and all ate. Log cake's cream really dun taste very nice. I dislike it as much as I dislike whipped cream. :P After that, we went to eat dinner at river valley (coz din eat much at the bbq, which is wad normally happens... hee...) Then we went prawning! Haha.. It is always very exciting to see the prawns hooked up on ur rod then u pull it up. Damn fun. Lol. But our skills not there yet la, so only caught abt 10 at the end of the 3 hours. However, as we were cooking that 10 prawns... Some pro that were still fishing gave us a net of prawns FREE. They said that they caught too much. HAHA.. A bit jealous of their skills sia. Lol. So, in the end, we had prawn feast. But I was too tired to remember the rest le. Last thing I remembered was me falling asleep at the table then waking up to get into the car then waking up to go home, bathe and sleep again. HAHA.. really tiring sia..
Nevertheless, it's a fun 3 days of the christmas period! Let's hope New Year will be like this too! :D So so so tired, I'm taking today and tmr off to rest then monday chiong again le!
