Haha.. I think Calvin sorta foreseen me blogging abt this. I said I won't but ended up I did. Lol.
Ok, eventful day for me today. I woke up pretty late today and then went down to meet JJ first at tiong then Calvin at city hall. Then the 3 of us went down to Kembangan to meet Erez to get something then we went down to expo for the IT fair. In city hall, some AT was like glancing and then staring at calvin. Calvin was apparently not in a mood for staring games so he did something shocking and scolded the man. HAHA. Pardon me, but I think it's quite funny. So after that, we boarded the train and another AT was like scolding some other guy because that guy seemed to have stepped on his foot and did not want to apologize. We only heard part of wad happened so I shall not assume what really happened. But he said sth abt Singaporeans are wad wad wad... n we think that juz because they are from china then wad wad wad.. Rubbish talk la. I thought, maybe he's trying to 'revenge' by turning Singaporeans' dislike for them back at us? Maybe... After that, we made our way to the IT fair, met xq and her fren then we entered the hall to walk around. Haha.. I think JJ din noe this but I saw it. As we were walkin, some random gal grabbed calvin's arm and sorta half pushed him, half using him as a support to past by us. Calvin was kinda pissed and stared at the person but she din see la. I was quite amused.. Haha.. sorry sorry, but really quite funny... Then we finished walking the IT fair and went next to the John Little Mega Sale which was in the hall nearby. We ended up buying a lot of snacks and queued for like an hour before we left expo and made our way to the airport for dinner. We had some difficulty finding seats then queuing again for food. After wad seemed like another eternity, we finally sat down and finished our dinner. This was when I got really pissed. Because Calvin wanted to buy food for his gf, we went to queue again to buy the food. Then some idiot china woman who was queuing behind us cut our queue. I knew she was gg to cut queue le but I thought she will have the basic courtesy to let us go first. Who noes, she doesn't. Pardon me for saying this, but a leopard can never change its spots and a china person will never change his or her behaviour despite where they are or how nice they are dressed. They are still as rude and mannerless. I dun wan to imply this on every human being from china, but I can say MOST of them are like this. Seriously. From the way I see them on the streets, I would say that practising stereotypes on them are unfair but it's how the majority spoils their reputation for who they are. Here, I would like to apologize to the minority that are the good ones. I hope ppl see u for who u are. For the majorities, I really have no comments for u. That lady was pretty well dressed but her behaviour totally transformed her into an ugly woman. I support that with the saying: ugliness comes from the heart. Coz calvin went up to her and told her that she cut his queue and she was like refusing to admit to it. Terrible... I was telling calvin, despite bring a chinese myself, I dislike ppl from china more than indians or malays. I would even, to a certain point, feel unhappy that ppl mistake me for someone from china. I mean, china is such a wonderful place with its wonderful culture and history. Whatever happened to its citizens?! Very disappointing... So after all the drama, we went to take bus back to town then wanted to go home from there. Sadly, at somewhere near east coast, a group of rowdy teens boarded the bus and made a lot of noise. The 3 if us were kinda irritated but we decided to ignore. Until JJ kept making comments abt it then Calvin got really irritated that he shouted at them. All of us were shocked for a moment and the bus grew really quiet. The bus driver even stopped the bus for a moment before making sure nothing was gonna happen then moved off. After that, we found out from one of them that they juz returned from a chalet and all of them were going home or sth. But they were seriously disrupting the public la. So, was quite glad that they shut up la.
In conclusion, a very exciting day. Haha... Tired le.. need to rest le... nite...
