Happy CNY 08!
OK, haven been posting up a decent post for quite some time... Shall start it with Chinese New Year! This yr, cny was more fun than the past few years. Because, we get to GO OUT. Why did I say that? Well, every year, I spend my cny in a tiny little kampong. Therefore, we only go relatives hse or relatives come our hse. But this yr, we managed to get hold of a car and thus we are able to travel to places further away.
For the first day of New Year, we went to a private zoo. When I say private, it's really private. Like no government control whatsoever de. Fully managed by a private organization. However, it is private but I won't say it's small... Well, perhaps simply coz the government zoo is what's known as the animal home for the aged. Heard that the animals in there are all dying le. LOL.

This is something know as "si bu xiang" in chinese. Basically, the name came from it's appearance. Because it's different features resembles 4 different animals, it has that name. Meaning dun look like either of the 4. Something like that...
This is just a normal deer but I really liked it coz of it's anters. It's really pretty isn't it? N they sped around damn fast! Haha...
This is like a half cat and half something. I got scared by it quite a number of times because it threatens people by crouching then suddenly jumping forward with it's teeth barred. Can be quite sudden la, pretty scary. LOL.
I was intrigued by this bull's horns. Dun you think they look really powerful? Haha...
I believe this is a jaguar. LOL. The eyes are really pretty!
Lol. Look at how this tiger sleeps. There are ALOT of tigers in this zoo. I think at least 20. Malaysia probably is one of the countries with zoos that has the largest collection of tigers ba... Except Africa, perhaps?
The tigers all looks quite majestic. We witnessed this incident where a family threw something at a tiger to disturb it then the tiger actually jumped about 2 to 3 storeys' high and tried to reach them! Because the enclosure is like about 2 to 3 storeys' height of wall then followed by another equally tall fence on top of it. The tiger actually reached the top of the wall and reached out of the fence! But he did not suistain and went back down afer that. Those people are so annoying! Why do such a terrible thing to a poor creature that already been locked up?
These turtles are actually quite big in size. One is about as long as a human body from the neck to the thigh. N wider of coz... "D
There are a lot of pythons too! Many, like almost 50 perhaps. A lot are like living together. Just like the mini version of the nest of snakes we see in Anaconda!
This is the only male lion in the zoo. Guess they have more tigers in malaysia? Anyway, there's only one male and one female. N they seem really old already. Like not moving and all... Quite sad la..
Little horsie.. the horses are really pretty creatures but it is really sad when they get neglected... :(
Haha! The first moment I saw these chickens, I was like... LOL! They are so freaking cute! Haha...
This is the sunset I saw on the way home.. Very pretty right?! Haha... But beautiful things are not meant to last la... Tt's one of the sad things in life.
