Here, I'm goin to talk about my trip to Japan! Tada..!
Day 1: Reached Changi airport at about 7am. Checked in, bid goodbye and went into the departure area. Boarded the plane at around 8 plus and our journey started. The flight was about 7 plus hours... We landed a little delayed then there we are. In Japan. The time there is exactly an hour faster than in Singapore. After purchasing a stupid pre-paid card that costs S$14 for 7 minutes and could not use it. We managed to find our way to the hotel. I can't believe we tipped the guy S$14! Haha... but the service there was not bad. So it was worth it la. LOL... Then we left our things and went for dinner. he first meal there was really.. errms. Haha.. We went in and were lost immediately. We do not understand the menu. OMG! Haha.. Then we tried to ask the guy wad is nice, hopin to be able to settle the meal. Who noes the guy replied in chinese. haha.. He's actually from China and only noe chinese and Japanese. LOL. But I think he's quite great to be able to master Japanese. Wonder how long he took. Haha... So this is Day 1. Waiting for meeting with Haruka the next day... {Had Katsu Don for dinner today...} Me and Pz... View when u are flying above the clouds... Night scene of Ikebukuro...
Day 2: We were debating whether to go to disney today or to go to other places. We decided on Asakusa. This place is famous for it's various temples and shrines. So we went there and bought a kind of Japan speciality called "ren xing shao". It's actually a kind of pastry with red bean filling in different shapes and forms. All very kawaii looking de... :D We also bought the amulets from the temple to protect the holder of it. :) Then we moved on to Shibuya. Here, there's something like a diagonal road. At the junction, cars from all directions will stop. Then u can cross any direction u wan. Cool right? Haha... Also, there are many small shops over here that sells nice stuffs. But, there are no cheap stuffs to buy. U can like see ppl carrying Coach, LV, etc everywhere... Lastly, we walked from Shibuya to Harajuku. On this street, there are many shops that sells the idols stuff. Fact that there's only one shop like that in Singapore, we went crazy seeing the streets full of those kinda shops. But we did not go into any because we were looking forward to buying them at the concert tmr personally. :D We tried looking for the Johnny's shop and actually went past it for like 5 times? But we did not realize it. haha... Wad happened was, we saw this queue but dunno wads happening. So we ignored it. who knows these ppl are queing to enter the Johnny's shop that is located in the alley. Tsk rite? (Oops! Can't tsk in Japan u noe?) Anyway, the shop is so popular, u need to get a number tag before u could enter the shop. In the meanwhile, u'll have to join the queue... -_-''' We waited for Haruka that night. She's late. And she din call. So we got really worried and tot the concert tmr is a no way le. But, thank god she came at 12mn. Yay.. We could finally go upstairs and rest in peace. :D {Had some snacks then ramen for lunch...} This was funny when we saw it. Haha... No idea if it is wad we all thought... This is the traditional temple in Japan. A very famous street selling ren xing shao in Asakusa. The typical shrine u see in many animes...
Day 3: Today is the concert day!!! In the morning, we woke up and rushed down to the film festa. Queued for like abt one and a half hour.. Finally, we manageed to get the tickets. Yay! It was nice on the whole. We bought some really nice goods.. Hehe... *Happy!!!* Aiba was really cute. Kawaii!!! In the film, a ping pong ball hit him and he banged against the door. Haha... He also toked abt the time when he had to pass the clothes to Koichi during his times as a jr at kinki kid's concert. But he went up too early and had to use the clothes to cover himself on the stage. LOL... HE DID THE HARDGAY ACTION. Omg... After the film festa, we rushed down to the concert. It's Arashi's natsu con! Haha.. We've been anticipating it man... So we tot to go there earlier to buy the con goods. Who knows... We can't find exactly where to buy it and tot everything was sold out already.. Really very depressed... Gradually, we hung around and realized that we had to join the queue to get the goods. By the time we got to the queue, it's already very very very very very very very long le. *Sad* Nevertheless, we managed to get the goods and rush into the arena for the concert on time. The concert was superb on the whole. Juz wanna say that I hoped Arashi saw us and know about us. fans from Singapore! No matter wad, WE LOVE U!!!! (Got a really close-ip of Aiba. Kakoii + Kawaii! U're great!) So, the whole day was great with us gg home alone coz haruka had to stay back for some reasons. We attracted quite alot of attention for the whole day. Probably coz we are not japanese? haha... {Had lunch at yoshinoya. It's really the cheapest and fastest food there... :D}
Day 4: Today, we went to disney. I can only say that the rides are fantastic! You wun noe till u've experienced it urself de... Then we went to play this game. U're supposed to roll a ball. If the ball lands in any pink bowl, u get a limited pin. If it lands in a gold bowl, u get a stuffed toy. Too bad i screwed up and got a pin only. Was really wishing that I could hug a toy home... It's juz too bad... :( We kept trying to buy popcorn. But u noe, every popcorn stall there sells a different taste popcorn. There's caramel, seasalt, coconut, black pepper, and maybe more that we did not see. In the end, we couldn't find the caramel one till juz before we were leaving the park. Therefore, we din buy any. Hee... Bought some souvenirs... It's a pity... I MISSED THE FIREWORKS!!! Depressed again.. This disney trip was fun. But not good enough. Next time, I'll do wadeva I wan with no restraint. So I'll never regret... :P {Ate this gyoza sausage bun or lunch... It's actually the meat bun we always eat in Singapore. Not as nice though... Ours are better.} Tower of terror. Opening on the sep 4th, so we missed it. Mermaid Lagoon! Pretty rite? Us with the superb 3D glasses! At the disney resort station.. In the disney resort. Damn nice la... Night show.. Preetty..!
Day 5: It's nearing the end of the trip le... Today, we went to ueno then odaiba. Nothin much, juz walkin around... At odaiba, we visited palette's town. there are rides there and the famous ferris wheel as well as the rainbow bridge. We even experienced a one-second earthquake over there! Haha... The thing is. we did not realized it was an earthquake until hours later. Haha... Because we were in a neoprint machine at that time. So when the shake came, we thought someone was shaking the machine. So we ignored it even though we saw only ground below and no parts of the machine connected. Then we realized it was an earthquake and was like.. orh...! Haha... Damn funny de. The ferris wheel is not very high up actually. Think it was 150m up. Nothing much but worth goin la. Can really see the whole of Tokyo. Will Singapore's one see even further? Since they say they are gg to build the biggest in the world? Wad with the addition of disneyland and wadsoever. When everything's built, Singapore will start sinking like Venice. LOL. Rainbow Bridge is very nice. Lovely, in fact. The arcades here are really different. They actually have games designed for sports like soccer, baseball, golf and such within the arcade. So the place is very big. {Ate bento bought from a convenient stall...Nice!} A street in Ueno... Palette town. Which consists of other rides other than the ferris wheel.. The great ferris wheel! "Statue of Liberty" Bowling in arcade
Day 6: Today is the last day of this Japan trip. In the morning, we went to Ikebukuro's streets (where we stayed these few days) to finish the last shopping. We ate okonomiyaki. It's wad I kept thinkin of eating the moment I reached Japan. Hee. It's like a pan friend thingy that u cook urself de. amazingly, we were able to cook it ourslef the correct way. Haha.. It was fun. Really! Then we went to give Haruka a last call, wasted the rest of the time slacking in the hotel lobby, before finally leaving for the airport. I carried 4 bags and Pz, 2. We went to the airport by train. Amazing rite? Carrying the heavy bags and changing from one train line to another, we finally reached safe and sound. We walked summore in the airport then it's time to board the plane. I've no choice but to say that it is really high tech there. Usually, the person would take ur boarding pass and tear it personally rite? Over there, they insert for u into a gate thing, like in our train stations, then the stub will be wad u keep. great rite? Won't even have to fear the ticket might tear or wad. The trip, like the previous time, is very long. Then we slept and ate and wad. finally, we reached home! Mum and sis were there to fetch me. Feel so touched... Pz's parents came as well. We left separately and this is the end of our trip.
