Anyway, first of all, I'll like to thank pozi for changing my blog for me... Thx!!!! Muackz! I love u! Haha...
This post is an intro to my next post, which will be all about japan. Hahax...
I spent the past 6 days in Japan. Tokyo, yokohama as well as passed chiba. It was really really fun and different from Singapore. U noe, in japan, it is a common sight to see: 1) Shop keepers greeting u whenever u walk into a shop or eatery. 2) People of all ages dragging a luggage/carrying an extra bag with them wherever they go. (This is bcoz, in japan, u won't get a nice-lookin bag if u buy things. U'll have to buy a bag. So ppl drag a luggage out to put the stuffs they buy/to put their cosplay costumes.) 3) Every female after the age of 14 in japan will put on at least a thin layer of make-up when they leave the house. 4) Youngsters performing on the street and ppl will SIT around and watch, also giving generous donations. 5) Majority using transparent or whhite umbrellas. 6) Diagonal roads. (In singapore, cars will stop alternately from the 4 directions. However, in japan, cars from all directions stop and u can cross whichever direction u wan. Cool right?!) 7) Smoking areas. ( They have designated stations to smoke on the roads becoz u seriously will have difficulty finding a bin in japan.) 8) Very organised queues everywhere. Train stations, eateries, etc.. There's no such thing as cutting queues... Seldom is that seen. 9) Guys in suit stading around streets at night. Find it scary though... Haha... 10) Cute kids. (Japanese children are really very cute. hees!) 11) Cute guys. (I seriously think that Japan has more cute guys than Singapore. Probably because they have a larger population? Haha.. No offense to Singapore guys though... :D 12) Trains on land level. 13) Waterproof plastics and bin outside every shop (whether big or small shops) when raining. So when u wanna walk into a shop, u'll have to take one. then throw it into the bin when u are leaving the shop. Quite troublesome la. Haha... 14) Ppl carrying branded bags like LV, Gucci, Prada, Coach, etc.. Wad they wear is also branded. 15) Public phones either have a cover or they are in boxes along the streets, Meaning that it is covered from rain and dust. 16) Everything written in Japanese (Duh?!!!) 17) The small eateries are always built in a way such that there's a counter that goes round the kitchen in the middle of the shop and u sit along the counter to eat. 18) Very very polite ppl. 19) Ppl browsing magazines like nobody's business. 20) Ppl dressed in anyway they want and nobody would spare a second glance. (Probably not if they are naked. Hahax!) 21) Very very high-tech toilet bowls that can rinse ur butt. haha... 22) Vending machines that vends cigrettes.. Dotz right? (And we realize they dun have vending machines for beer and alcholic products.) 23) Last but not least, trains that has female only cabins. Hee...
Anyway, I'll continue in my next post. It's a really really fun trip to japan!
How easy it is to lose contact...
